San Bernard River Report
Wed Jul15 2:00 pm
3-5 inches of rain over the last several days is common throughout the San Bernard River watershed.
The National Weather Service is predicting an "action level" rise (a step below "minor flooding") at East Bernard. No such prediction at Boling or Hwy 35 so far, but there has been enough rain to create a small rise there.
There’s been big tidal swings the past few days and that combined with what's coming down river may cover some docks. Major flooding is not expected, but as always, homeowners and especially anyone with a boat in the lift should be watching the links on the home page to follow how much additional rain falls upriver and what the gauges are doing at Hwy 35, Boling and East Bernard.
