FM 521 Boat Ramp Open
Posted on Sep 24th, 2017

McNeil bridge boat ramp and parking lot at FM 521

Brazoria County Road & Bridge Dept bladed the boat ramp at the FM 521 McNeil bridge allowing access for boats to the San Bernard River.
The huge five foot pile of sand is testimony to the amount of debris deposited there by Harvey hurricane flood waters.

Big thanks to that Good Samaritan, see below...

Not so breaking news:
The kudos goes to a private homeowner and resident of SBR last Friday. Just a Good Samaritan helping with the Harvey clean up!

Would like to know when the boat ramp at Churchill (FM 2611) is open. Last week of September 2017 it was still silted in and not usable. Any update appreciated. Thanks!

The County probably won’t do anything until hurricane trash debris gets picked up.
