Now that the boating ban on the San Bernard has been lifted (Sep 12) BE ADVISED TO USE CAUTION for the next couple of weeks while boating on the river because timbers, pipes, cables, sheet metal, etc. from destroyed boat lifts could possibly be lodged against the bottom or bank or lurking just beneath the surface of the water.

 

If you have seen military aircraft flying overhead, yes, there is a war going on - a war on mosquitos! The planes will be flying throughout the county to assist with mosquito spraying.
