It was a crowded room that listened to Fundraiser Co-chair Suzanne Goodson deliver information about the upcoming “Escape to the Tropics - Island LuWow”  Oct 3rd event at the FOR Annual Meeting on Sat Sep 19th. Behind the Tiki God surfboard (and gong clanger) is Co-chair Linda Wright. Attend the LuWow fundraiser and auction - it’ll be a fun time.

 

Brazoria County Commissioner David Linder announced at the FOR annual meeting that County Commissioner’s Court has awarded the contract to repave CR 510, CR 520, CR 463 and the FM 521 boat ramp parking lot. Phillips 66 to pay 60-70% of the cost.

 

Re-elected at the annual meeting for three-year terms were Directors Tom Ronayne, Russell York, Linda Wright and Elena Berger. Two new Directors elected were Ron Evans finishing a 2013-2016 term vacated by Brian Jones and Gary Kersh with a 2016-2019 three-year term.
