Representing FOR San Bernard at the banquet was FOR Vice President Mike and wife Suzanne Goodson, Charlie and FOR Director Ana Pogue, FOR Director Tom and wife Sherry Folger and FOR Director Mike and wife Cindy Redmond. Networking promoting our "Escape to the Tropics - Island LuWow" event on Oct 3rd was done. FOR attendees also talked to several sponsors reminding and thanking them for their support of Friends of the River.

 

Approximately fifty friends of the river attended the monthly Breakfast on the Bernard on Saturday.  In addition to the usual good food and conversation, we were joined this month by Congressman Randy Weber and wife, Brenda. All were reminded of the upcoming River Clean-up on Sat Sep 12th, the Annual Meeting on Sat Sep 19th and the tropical LuWow fundraiser on Sat Oct 3rd.
