Boat Scuttled on River

 Left to rot in the river is what looks to be an abandoned 1973 Chris Craft named the “Gin C” with Texas registration numbers TX 4024 YZ.
 This is a 1973 Chris Craft in better days.
Just when you think the river is free from trash, someone unloads a derelict boat on the water that obviously has seen better days. Still on the bow is the rope that was used to tow the then floating boat a short distance downriver from the FM 521 boat ramp, where upon the culprit(s) scuttled it. The engine had been removed.
Watch for an orange placard to be placed on the boat by the Texas General Land Office showing they are investigating ownership of the boat. Owners must show a bill of sale of their boat otherwise they are ultimately responsible for removal of the vessel.
