FOR Annual Meeting & Election of Directors

John Wallace, Nominating Committee Chairman, presented the nominees for the 2013-14 FOR Board of Directors at the FOR annual meeting, Sep 7th at Dido's Restaurant. The seven nominees were unanimously voted in to fill the seven vacancies.

Suzanne Goodson, Vice President, talked about the upcoming October 26 & 27 River Regatta fundraiser that will feature the Shrine Braz Clowns who are members of the El Mina Shrine in Galveston, Tx. Assisting her in her presentation was a couple of young clowns-in-training.

Wayne Head, President, welcomed the new FOR Directors: Bob Bailey, Velinda Graves, Brian Jones, Fred Kanter, Tom Folger, Joe Schneider and Russell York.

Brian Meagher, Environmental Committee member and river resident, was the speaker of the evening. He discussed the economic development of the Brazosport area and its impact on the San Bernard Watershed.
