Roadside Cleanup on FM 2611

On Sat Aug 21, eleven volunteers collected fifteen bags of trash plus items too big for a trash bag.
Three times a year, FOR participates in the TxDOT Adopt-a-Highway program and cleans a two mile stretch of FM 2611 surrounding Sportsman Span bridge. Thanks to these volunteers who worked the road and kept their cool despite the heat –Tom Ronayne, committee chairman, Jim Cooper, Vicki Head, John Swanson, Justin Hillis, Dana Hillis, Sheila Wardlaw, Mike Goodson, Kirk Wardlaw, Jack Muskoff and Jim Hillis.
