The Dredge Report - Aerial Photography
Posted on Aug 2nd, 2021

Photos Jason Allen 7-30-21
Fri Jul 30. Arriving the day before, the dredge that will open the mouth, is positioned at the intersection of ICW and San Bernard River. River’s End sits at the top of photo with the river snaking past it on the right. The Gulf/mouth is located to the south of the dredge.

Overhead view of dredge equipment. A portion of the dredge's cutterhead can be seen sticking up just above the water on the upper right.

Equipment is unloaded from dredge on sand bar near mouth opening.

A huge thanks to Jason Allen, San Bernard River resident, who shot these awesome aerial images from the extraordinary vantage point of a drone. Hopefully we will be able to follow the work of opening the mouth through his photos.
