Fire at Las Playas

On Sun Aug 18, firefighters from River’s End Fire Dept work on putting out a fire located in the Las Playas subdivision on South Belt near Septimo. Las Playas is located a mile and a half downriver from the Churchill Bridge on FM 2611.

By the time the River’s End Fire Dept arrived, the structure was already on the ground. The aluminum roof had collapsed on a trailer that was being demolished causing a stubborn fire. Jones Creek Fire Dept assisted River’s End Fire Dept. The Sheriff’s office and Fire Marshall were also on the scene.
