Posted on Aug 23rd, 2017

Source: National Weather Service, 11:50 am, Wed Aug 23
Thu Aug 24, 10:30 pm, midway between the FM 521 bridge and the Churchill Bridge: First wave of wind and rain arrives on the San Bernard.

IF…tropical depression Harvey decides to strengthen into a tropical storm or a hurricane, and
IF…the weatherman is correct about the possible 15 inches of rain, and
IF…Harvey decides to travel up the San Bernard watershed (the light green area bordering the river on the map) dropping that 15 inches of rain, expect the San Bernard to flood and flood big time. Watch the weather and make your own call!
