The Mouth after Beryl's Visit

Aerial photos taken on July 14, 2024, six days after Hurricane Beryl came barreling ashore over the San Bernard. Note the sand bar forming just offshore where the mouth of the river enters the Gulf. Exercise caution if boating in this area as the storm surge and strong winds changed the depth of the water in places.
