NTP (Notice to Proceed) has been authorized to start the project of dredging the mouth of the San Bernard River. The required Environmental Monitoring Training begins next week and the Contractor will begin mobilization the week after training.

 

While under construction, please do not access the work zone from from the Intracoastal Waterway (see map) and anywhere below to where the mouth meets the Gulf. The dredge operation is working in a sensitive area with limited space and time. Any additional boat traffic in the work zone will pose a hazard to the dredge operation and the boater. Please, we’ve waited too long for this…let’s not get in their way.
