Update: RUAA Findings

![]() A Basic RUAA was performed on two tributaries of the San Bernard, the Gum Tree Branch and the West Bernard Creek and on the San Bernard River above the ConocoPhillips salt water exclusion dam.

Natalie Bell, Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) gave an overview of the the Recreational Use Attainability Assessment (RUAA) process and Jenny Wrast, University of Houston Environmental Institute, presented their findings on June 24, 2011 at the Albert George Library in Needville, Texas.
The purpose of the RUAA was to determine what types of recreation each stream is physically suitable for, regardless of its current water quality.
