Busy Time at the Mouth
Posted on Jun 30th, 2021

June 26, 2021. On a hot, sunny Saturday afternoon, fourteen boats can be seen “beach anchored” to a giant sand bar that fills the mouth of the San Bernard. Opposite the sandbar, a shallow stream empties into the Gulf. Four-wheel vehicles park on the other side of the stream having made the precarious trek crossing Cedar Lake Cut as they travel from Sargent to the San Bernard.
