Ribs, Ribs, Glorious Ribs

FOR “Taste Buds” team members, left, Bob Bailey, Valroy Maudlin, Fred Kanter, Susan Bailey, Bob Breakiron, George Harris, Adalia Maudlin, Tom Ronayne and Ken Wright push back from the table in a meat haze after judging 29 official rib entries in Brazoria’s No Name Festival cook-off on Sat Jun 10th. In May, the "Taste Buds" also judged brisket during Sweeny Pride Day cook-off.

A scoring guide was furnished to help assist the judges in their decisions. Plus entries were ranked on appearance, taste, aroma, and tenderness. Winners were announced after tlhe judges had left.
