During the latter part of May, the M/V Capt Primeaux was seen sitting idle at the Phillips 66 terminal dock port facility on the San Bernard waiting on a barge to fill with petroleum product that will soon be pushed downriver.

The towboat built, by Southwest Shipyard, joined Higman Marine, Orange, Texas in October 2015. She is 78 ft long, 34 ft beam, 10 ft deep hull and weighs 177 tons. Her two Caterpiller C32 engines have total of 2,000 hp. Captain Anthony Primeaux and a crew of five keep things running smoothly.
