M/V Kendall Alyse

The M/V Kendall Alyse is seen heading downriver approaching the Churchill Bridge pushing a barge filled with product from the Phillips 66 terminal.
 
Built in 1980, she was acquired in 2008 by the Cheryl K Marine company, Channelview, TX. Retrofitted in 2008 with a new bow and bulwarks (a modified type of towboat, known as a Cajun boat designed for use on the IntraCoastal Waterways and moderately open waters that has high doorway thresholds and some form of bulwarks or walls above the deck). She runs on two 1500 hp Caterpillar engines and measures 61.2 ‘ long, 26.1’ wide and 9.9’ draft.
