Barge Shipments of Large Equipment Scheduled

Conditions permitting, Chevron Phillips Chemical Co. has scheduled four shipments of large equipment to be transported by barge to the Pierce Landing offloading ramp, located a quarter mile below the FM 522 bridge on the river. The first shipment is due to begin on Fri Jun 19 or Mon Jun 22 and the next three shipments continue 3 - 4 days apart until the last week in June. The equipment is used in building their polyethylene facilities in Old Ocean.
