Have you ever considered running for a position on the Friends of the River San Bernard Board of Directors? Every fall, F.O.R. San Bernard begins the process of soliciting and identifying candidates to be a member of the F.O.R. Board of Directors. A nominee does not have to live on the San Bernard to be eligible. Five positions are open for nomination each year. These are either new members or members currently up for re-election to a second consecutive term as an existing Board Member. Elected Board Directors serve a three-year term and are eligible for re-election to a second three-year term. Elections are held in September at the annual meeting.
Service on the F.O.R. Board of Directors is a privilege, an honor and a rewarding experience. You have all summer to consider running and be ready to apply in the fall when the call for candidates comes out.
