Life Along the Banks: UP Railroad Bridge

The Union Pacific railroad swing bridge on the San Bernard stands at mile 20.7 near Brazoria. It opens upon signal by passing barges traveling up and down the river from the ConocoPhillips refinery terminal located south of Hwy 35 near Sweeny.
