Sunday’s sermon...you can stop working on your Ark. The last flood crest on the San Bernard is past Hwy 35 and everyone should see the water start dropping today. At FM 521 and downstream they should see their docks tomorrow. Tuesday for residents above Black's Ferry location. May the several rainy days predicted next week not cover us up again...and, as Noah said to the animals leaving the ark "it’s safe to go forth and multiply"...unless you’re an adder (snake)!

 

River predicted to crest at Hwy 35 close to 15 ft above sea level by tonight. Below FM 521, water will continue to rise very slightly for a day or so after that, cresting at approx 7 ft Mon or Tue morning.

 

National Weather Service is predicting San Bernard to crest at 14 ft above sea level at Hwy 35.  That translates to 7 or 8 feet above sea level at just below FM 521. More rain predicted tonight but should not impact the crest by more than an foot or so.
