Flood Gauge Comparison

- UPDATE Sat May 11th, 6:00 pm: According to NOAA "San Bernard River near Old Ocean" flood gauge, it looks like the river crested at around 15.26 ft (2.66 ft higher than in the photo below) and should start to slowly recede.
 This is the NOAA “San Bernard River near Old Ocean” flood gauge at 4:00 pm on Fri May 10th. It shows the height of the river at “moderate” stage of 12.60 ft.

 This is the Black’s Ferry Bridge near Old Ocean at the same time on the same day as the flood gauge reading...but the NOAA prediction two days from now, on Sun May 12th is that the river will be in “major” flood stage at 20.6 ft an additional rise of 8 ft.

Does anyone know if the locks on the BRAZOS River are closed? It seems like it is taking longer than usual for the SBR to recede. I am wondering if the Brazos is backing up into the SBR.
