April Water Quality Test on San Bernard
Posted on May 3rd, 2015

Valroy Mauldin, FOR Director and citizen scientist monitor takes water samples each month midway between the FM 521 bridge and the FM 2611 bridge for the Texas Stream Team program.

Measurement Comments and Field Observations for April: river was on various stages of flood last week and level is still higher than normal. Batteries on conductivity meter are dead so used hydrometer, no detectable salinity, no surprise. Water is turbid and fresh as a result of recent flooding.
