Ranger Program Held at Wharton Elementary

The Friends Of the River (FOR) San Bernard Ranger Program presented a watershed program to 145 fifth grade students at Wharton Elementary on Friday, May 16, 2014. The Ranger program is an educational program for elementary school students designed to raise awareness of the San Bernard River watershed and its environmental concerns. Each student received a packet of information about the watershed and a Ranger t-shirt. Additionally, there was a drawing of four student’s names who each received a new rod and reel.
