River Clean-Up set for May 12

 Volunteers are asked to bring their boats (if available), hats, bug spray, sunscreen and gloves and sign-in at one of the trash collection stations located at Hanson Riverside County Park, Hwy 35, West Columbia; McNeill Bridge FM 521 boat ramp; or the Churchill Bridge FM 2611 boat ramp
Free t-shirts, water, and trash bags will be distributed at that time.
Immediately following the clean-up, all participants are invited to attend a free hot dog social at the F.O.R. Community Center, 20450 CR 510 B in the Holiday Shores Subdivision on the San Bernard River. Prizes will be awarded for the most unusual clean-up items retrieved from the river.
Whether you have volunteered in the past or are new this year, F.O.R. hopes to see you on Sat., May 12. If you benefit from a clean and beautiful San Bernard River, then you should be a Clean Team volunteer.
