Fishing Report on the San Bernard

No luck down here. Not from lack of trying though. 99% of my fishing is with lures at night. I have not tried soaking bait in about a month. The water was looking great up until the rain last weekend. It's muddy now and I have noticed the Gar have returned under the lights. I do have about two dozen decent crabs in my traps. I plan on cooking those today. First batch of the year. The mosquitos are growing in numbers. I mowed yesterday and was fine in the sun, as soon as I ran through the shade they would attack! Let's hope the water greens up soon.

Muddy and fresh still up here. I haven't put a pole in the water since the rain last weekend.
