McNeil Bridge Boat Ramp Repaired
Posted on May 19th, 2010

By J.R. Norris
Brazoria County Parks Department

The 3X8’s on this dock are still in great shape. A few more supports will be added before the top is redecked.

All the structures located at this boat ramp will be redecked and any bad support members replaced. Another board for a band will be added around each structure to help keep boats from getting caught between the deck and the water.

A board will be added on the side of the boat slip to try and prevent damage to the boats that are launching. The cap along the top of the bulkhead will be replaced and the finger pier that runs beside the boat slip will be reworked and the weeds will be trimmed back and the walking trail worked.
