Closing the Gap - Churchill Bridge

Construction of the Churchill Bridge on FM 2611 over the San Bernard is taking shape. Much of the concrete has been poured for the new 12-foot lanes and 10-foot shoulders that replace the much narrower ones on the older bridge. Cost is set at $12.141 million but think of all the panic attacks it will cure when meeting a large truck atop the old bridge.
