River's End VFD Open House

 On SatApr2, River’s End VFD demonstrated the “Jaws of Life” during an open house of their new training center Station 2 in Las Playas located a mile south of the FM 2611 Churchill Bridge. In the lower portion of the photo, a “Jaws of Life” ram can be seen pushing the motor and dashboard away from the driver in order to free people trapped inside.

 Three kids climb on a River’s End VFD truck at the open house, probably dreaming of the day when they will be big enough to ride in a big red truck and put out fires.
