Litter picked up on two miles of FM 2611

A mile either side of the FM 2611 Churchill Bridge over the San Bernard River was cleared of litter on Sat March 2, 2024. Twelve bags of trash and some heavy pieces were collected. Volunteers, shown in photo include Ana Pogue - top left, Susan Bailey - top right, Cole Swanson - bottom left and FOR President John Swanson - bottom right. Not pictured, but involved, was Brian Meagher and FOR Adopt a Highway Co-chair Tom Ronayne. Thanks to these hearty volunteers who multitasked picking up trash and fighting off a gazillion mosquitos at the same time.
