March Meeting Report

These reports are a way to let the public know what FOR’s been up to. It’s also a way that someone can determine if there is any way they’d like to get involved in things. - Sun Mar 13 Texas Stream Team Water Quality Test on San Bernard
H-GAC Texas Stream Team volunteer Denise Wolever uses a test kit to measure the physical and chemical parameters of San Bernard River. She tests off her pier six miles downstream from Churchill Bridge at CR 469. The test reports the pH level, salinity, temperature, dissolved oxygen and turbidity of the water.
- Sat Mar 5 Breakfast on the Bernard, Dido’s Restaurant
A group of 27 enjoyed breakfast and chatting with friends and neighbors. President Kirk Wardlaw reminded everyone about the Adopt a Highway litter pick-up on FM 2611 immediately following breakfast. He also reminded everyone to be sure and attend the State of the River meeting at 4:00 pm that evening at Dido’s Restaurant. Also coming up is the annual Easter egg hunt at the FOR Community Center on Sat Apr 16th, the day before Easter.
