On Sat March 5, 2022, seventeen volunteers collected 42 bags of litter including a kiddie wading pool along a two mile stretch of FM 2611. Four times a year, depending on road conditions, FOR has agreed to to keep a section of a highway free from litter. The thought behind this volunteer effort is to get the trash off the highway before it gets in the river. Thanks to these volunteers for working to keep the areas next to the river free of trash.
