NWS 2020 Spring Flood Outlook

The National Weather Service - Houston/Galveston office, has recently published its “2020 Spring Flood Outlook”. It predicts “the Spring Flood Potential for southeast Texas is near normal for the Trinity, San Jacinto, Brazos, San Bernard, and Colorado River Basins, and below normal for the Lavaca/Navidad River Basin. This outlook is based on antecedent rainfall, current streamflows, water supply storage, soil moisture conditions, and long-term climate outlooks over the next three months.” Read entire report.
