M/V Quincey Cenac Seen on the River

M/V Quincey Cenac travels under the FM 2611 Churchill Bridge.
 
Seen recently pushing a barge filled with petrochemical product from the Phillips 66 terminal on the San Bernard is the 72’x30’x8’5” towboat M/V Quincey Cenac, part of the Cenac Towing fleet out Houma, La. Christened in July 2016, she is named for a nephew of the Cenac family. 
 
The pushboat features twin Cummins engines for a total of 2,000 hp. The vessel is propelled by five-blade stainless steel propellers (72 by 58 inches) and has a fuel capacity of 18,538 gallons and carries 10,250 gallons of water and 730 gallons of oil. Cenac Towing Company towboats are identified by the red paint on the first deck.
