Seen at Brazoria County Day in Austin, Texas

Friends of the River San Bernard attended the Legislative Session of the Texas Senate during Brazoria County Day in Austin, Texas on March 3, 2015. They were there to mingle with the legislators and to talk about the San Bernard.

In addition to visiting legislators at the Capitol, members of the Environmental Committee drove to the offices of the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality to discuss details of the FOR SB Conservation Easement located on the east bank of the San Bernard in Fort Bend County.
 
A special event at Brazoria County Day was the “World’s Largest Shrimp Cocktail” served at Fiesta Gardens in Austin, TX.

Attending the Legislative Session were, left, Marilyn Shockley, Nick and Barbara Fratila, FOR Environmental Committee Chairman. Partially seen above them was Adalia and Valroy Maudlin, FOR Director.
 
Also attending the session were, left, Ange Ronayne, Vicki Head, FOR Director, Wayne Head, Past FOR President, and Tom Ronayne, current FOR President. Also in attendance but not shown, Brian Jones, FOR Director and Brazoria County Court Judge Jerri Lee Mills.
