Update of City of Brazoria WWTP

City of Brazoria’s Waste Water Treatment Plant (WWTP) Jan 1, 2022 discharge of effluent water into the San Bernard River. Update from December 2023 Brazoria City Council meeting.
The City of Brazoria received and reviewed bids for the General Land Office (GLO) Waste Treatment Rehabilitation Project and has selected a contractor to move forward with the project. The City is working with GLO for final approval and contract submission. Contract should be completed in February with work beginning in March. GLO is supplying a majority of the funding for this rehabilitation project.
