First it was “the virus” then it was the weather. After shivering for a week with bone-chilling cold on the normally tepid San Bernard River it looks as if things will finally thaw out. Probably all of us experienced lost power, some were lucky to have experienced for a short amount of time, others not so lucky. It was a time when you could actually open your refrigerator door to cool the inside. It will be a long haul to get things back the way they were before we iced-down but  the sun is shining warmly now and we can peel off that base layer, middle layer and shell layer of clothing we have been wearing for a week.
