Ronayne Receives Primeau Award

Tom Ronayne received the 2019 Ralph Primeau Memorial Award in recognition of his outstanding volunteer commitment for significantly contributing toward the spirit and purpose of FOR’s mission of a clean and flowing San Bernard River. This award is given each year at the annual FOR State of the River meeting, held this year on Feb 23rd.
Tom has been an active member of FOR serving as Director, member of the Management Committee, Vice President and President. Before becoming a member of the board he was very active in the organization as a member, for instance, he was very involved in the upgrade of the Community Center bulkhead.
As a past president he still serves on the Environmental Committee and co-chair of the Adopt a Highway program. He has taken the lead in the septic system education programs and has encouraged FOR to be active in the San Bernard River Hydrologic Prediction problems. Tom also represents FOR as a member of the Community Advisory Panel (CAP) for Phillips 66 and Chevron Phillips.
