Reopening the Mouth Learning Opportunity

Ocean Conservancy has planned a series of "Listening Sessions" to discuss Gulf restoration priorities and opportunities. This session will provide an opportunity to learn about proposed projects and will include a forum to discuss shared priorities and opportunities for restoration.
Open house begins at 6:00 p.m. and the meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

Note - Comment recently emailed to the FOR Board: "Hello, I have been going to the San Bernard since 1979, now I am 850 miles away and miss the river and the good people so much. Guess I have camped at the mouth of the river about 30 times. Last time I camped at the mouth was 2003. I hope someday you can re-cut the mouth and install a jetty to keep the mouth open.
