Santa outdoes himself!

San Bernard Santa outdid himself this year. Three hundred thirty-nine toys, five bicycles and thirty adult household baskets fill the collection area at Dido’s Restaurant.

On Sunday Dec 10th, members of three local San Bernard River churches graciously accepted a generous amount of toys, bicycles, and something new this year - adult household baskets. These items were from the annual “San Bernard Santa Toy Drive” sponsored by Friends of the River (FOR) San Bernard and organized by Committee Chairs Cathy MacDonald and Nancy Kanter.
Now more than ever, with the current economic situation, San Bernard children will benefit a Happy Christmas. The generous community contributions and the FOR household basket donations were greatly appreciated by all.
