Neighborhood Churches Receive Christmas Gifts

On Sunday Dec. 18th, in the spirit of Christmas giving, FOR “San Bernard Santa” donated toys and clothing articles to three neighborhood churches located near the San Bernard River. Committee chairmen Cathy MacDonald and Nancy Kanter delivered gift bags containing a total of 283 items to the 10:30 am church services. The Christmas gifts will be disbursed throughout the community by the churches themselves.
Churches receiving the gifts were the Mims Community Church, 4283 FM 521, the Galilee Missionary Baptist Church, 424 CR 311 and the Old Fashion Church of God in Christ, 1038 CR 312.
