Last Battle of the Bulbs...
An intrepid Santa helper, looking for decorated homes, cautiously cruised the challenging upper area of the San Bernard above the FM 522 bridge where logs wait to reach out and snag a boat. The search earned him and all of the "Battle of the Bulbs" Santa helpers a place on the “nice” list for taking photos of the decorated riverfront homes.

So friends, this ends the search for riverfront homes displaying merry and bright Christmas lights reflecting what captures the Christmas spirit. This event was designed to give San Bernard River residents the chance to celebrate the Christmas holidays as a total linear river community.
Besides bragging rights, the owners of these decorated homes will receive a free breakfast at the FOR “Breakfast on the Bernard” at Dido’s Restaurant. The breakfast buffet is served the first Saturday of every month all year long from 8:30 - 9:30 am. The offer is good for a one-time breakfast in 2023, starting Sat Jan 7th. Just show up and say “my decorated house was on the website”, FOR takes care of the rest.
