M/V Clifford L. Carraway seen on the river

Seen Sun Dec 20, 2020, the towboat M/V Clifford L. Carraway pushes a barge loaded with petroleum product downriver having just passed under the Churchill Bridge.
She was built in 2013, by Hope Services Inc. of DuLac, Louisiana (hull #187) as the Clifford L. Carraway for Higman Barge Lines of Houston, Texas. In 2018, Higman was acquired by Kirby Corporation of Channelview, Texas where the tug retained her name. She is named after a Hope Services employee Cliff Carraway and is a twin screw, 78’x34’ pushboat rated at 2,000 horsepower.
Factoid: Did you know there is no wheel in the wheelhouse? Rather it is steered by four sticks which operate the rudders that maneuver the whole thing down the river.
