It was a beautiful calm winter evening and a very bright spot on the San Bernard as eighteen boats, grandly dressed up with holiday lights, continued the river community’s celebration of the 34th Annual FOR Christmas Boat Parade. A big thanks goes to the boat owners who filled their vessels with lights, inflatable characters, music and even an extra boat pulled behind to carry Santa and Mrs. Claus down the river. It’s always a happy time on the river!

This year, the parade event itself was on a smaller scale as the home decorating competition, cash prizes, and winner’s party were postponed because of covid stlll lurking out there. These will resume next year. The event was combined with the second annual San Bernard Santa Toy Drive (read separate article).
