This monster just called at the port of Los Angles and is the largest vessel ever to reach US coasts. You won’t be seeing her on the river. The CMA CGM (stands for a worldwide shipping company) BENJAMIN FRANKLIN’s dimensions are impressive. With its 1,306 ft. length and 177 ft. width, she is longer than the Empire State Building and wider than an American football field. The vessel is 197 ft. high, which is the same height as a 20-floor building. Her highest antenna peaks at 230 ft. Don’t look for a photo of her on the San Bernard.
