Recycle your Christmas Tree
Posted on Dec 26th, 2015

Recycle your Christmas tree after the holiday season is over by bringing it, with all the decorations removed including tinsel (if you added any), to any Brazoria County precinct office or the Brazoria County Parks Department headquarters in Angleton, 313 W Mulberry Street.

The trees will be staked to the beach to fight erosion on Dunes Day, Jan. 23, 2016. The branches and trunk provide barriers that help lessen the amount of sand washed away by the water. They can also help rebuild areas, especially after hurricanes, by collecting sand deposits that would otherwise be washed away.
