Friends Of the River board of directors unanimously funded the San Bernard Watershed Scholarship Program again for 2013 graduating seniors. Applicants must live in or attend a high school whose district is within the San Bernard watershed and demonstrate a direct connection between their career path and the betterment of the environment. Scholarship applications were submitted to these 14 high schools: Bellville, Brazos, Sealy, Brazosport, Columbia, Sweeny, Columbus, Rice, Lamar Consolidated, Needville, Boling, East Bernard, El Campo and Wharton.

 

FOR will be awarding five - $1,000 scholarships. All applications must be returned no later than April 15, 2013. Scholarship requirements and Application Form
