Based on daily reports, the following metrics have been calculatd
LF (Linear Feet) = 7,875 (81.2% of 9,700)
CY (Cubic Yards) = 222,121 (61.3% of 362,163)
Continued good news! Generally, the dredging operations have been running fairly smoothly with typical downtime for maintenance, outside of the 15-hour downtime on 11/08 for the repair of a broken sheave.
HDR and the County met with Rigid’s Project Manager on FRI morning to discuss progress and expected dredging completion date. Based on current dredging rates, it appears that the actual dredging may be completed by the end of the year. We’re all hoping for production to pick up, but current production metrics indicate that the end of the year may be the soonest they’ll be done with the dredging operations. Demobilization will follow and last a couple of weeks.
- Boaters please stay clear of markers, the dredge pipe, all equipment, and the discharge area
