Nov 20, 2018. Mouth of the Brazos River. There is a clear demarcation between the silt laden current coming from the flooding Brazos River flowing southwesterly and the clearer Gulf water to the east.

The Corps of Engineers has said they are planning on removing the West Flood Gate on the Brazos River and the Intracoastal Waterway. That means the mouth will get a double whammy of clogging silt coming from the ICW to the north and the Gulf of Mexico on the south.
